Full internal and external maintenance completed in 2022! This is the second generation of Tannoy's famous machine ARDEN. The warm and soft tone is attractive. It plays all kinds of music lusciously and gently. In particular, it works great with vacuum tube amplifiers, and the sense of orchestra scale and smooth playback of stringed instruments are satisfying enough to listen to. Maintenance information: 2022.9.23 Maintained (terminal screws, rust removal, acid washing, cleaning. Internal connection terminal (faston) replaced with a new one. ATT (SW type) contact cleaning. A frequency characteristic measurement check (~ 42 kHz) was performed, and the original capacitor was continuously used because the results were good. Check the input/output waveform and balance, and check the sound output. Unit maintenance (high range side: magnetic circuit gap cleaning/center adjustment) exterior repair/polishing/oil finish.
