It was originally planned to be sold separately, but since the phono equalizer output is 600 ohms, and the input of the preamp is 600 ohms, the input sensitivity of the pre was too high, so they were sold as a set. Note that if a line such as a CD is input to the preamp, the sound will be quite distorted even if the volume is reduced, so please use it as a set with a phono equalizer. Maintenance information: 2024.12.19 Maintained (RE-45A repair details input IMP 47KΩ gain 20dB (1Khz) The slightly smaller gain seems to assume a combination with an ALC power amplifier (the ALC EL34 amplifier here has an input sensitivity of 200mV and high sensitivity) The following treatments*ATT disassembly and cleaning vacuum tube pin cleaning operation was checked. *6DJ8 6SN7 LCR-EQ output IMP 600Ω When the toggle switch is turned up, the high frequency gain increases. The flat XLR output ① GND ② OUT ③ shield (GND) is unbalanced below. Next, RE-45B repair details* Assuming a combination with ALC RE-45A (phono EQ) and ALC-101 (DAC), it seems that the input level is assumed to be around 100 mV (were there any specification changes when ordering specifications for this individual?) Therefore, if the CD is connected directly, it will be distorted. There is an LCR EQ as the output, and high range characteristics can be selected with the switch (high frequency characteristics can be selected from F → flat ① to ⑤). The following treatments*rotary switch and ATT disassembly cleaning vacuum tube pin cleaning operation were checked.
