Auction in Newsletter The following is the result of auction in last week: 1. "MJ CD Digital Audio Mastering technique" Number of bids:3, Winning bid:1,500yen The auction in this week is as follows: 1. Be knowledgeable! Speaker & Enclosure Encyclopedia, Seibundo Shinkosha Published by Seibundo Shinkosha, Regular price: 1640 yen, Page: 192 This is a book about speakers and enclosures, Published by MJ Seibundo Shinkosha. It explains from the basic to geeky stuffs about speakers in detail. It includes the classification of speaker units and enclosures and each feature with measured data and illustrations in detail. As for the units, it explains in quite detail from the vibration system to the installation position in the enclosure. This book looks a do-it-yourself book at first glance, but that is not true. It is more like analyzing many shapes of speakers sold in the market today. I think you understand why speakers called great machine as they speak sound better through this book. It's going to be a really good learning since it explains Altec A7 is, as a matter of fact, a speaker focusing on the phase characteristic as well as B&W etc. and the sound difference by the back loading or front loading type. For one of the interesting features, it describes a method to measure the acoustic canals of speaker by the hologram. It's very Seibundo Shinkosha that covers a lot of stuffs. http://www.hifido.co.jp/cgi-bin/auction/show.cgi?s=d&num=125&id=0512501&l=EN If you place a bid or have any inquiry, please mail to Hi-Fi Do Record Shop: mailto:hifido@hifido.co.jp Closing time for auction: 21:00 (JST) on December 8th (Thursday) 7.Information from Shop Managers <Akihabara Shop> This time I'm gonna feature audio sets in Akihabara Store.
